Adjustable rope tension system allows for tone adjustment (high/low pitch). One drum head has repair patch from previous skin damage, but still produces sound. Custom carrying strap (approximately 150cm long) made from a Nihon Ki-in (Japan Go Association) tenugui (traditional hand towel). Can be played while carried with shoulder strap. Okedo Daiko (barrel-shaped drum). Pair of bachi (drumsticks). Note: Okedo Taiko is a traditional Japanese barrel drum, commonly used in festival music and performances. This particular drum features a unique carrying strap made from a Go association tenugui, making it suitable for mobile performances. Japanese “Stencil” Ralston Drum Set. This is a FOUR piece 1960’s Japanese “Stencil” kit badged Ralston. Unusual double 12 tom setup. 20 kick, 12,12,16. No snare, as the original one came damaged. I WAS however able to save the wrap in one piece. It will be included.

22×14 bass drum and 13×9 rack tom. The bass drum heads probably need changing. The heads on the tom are new-old-stock. I don’t see any serious issues. There are some splits on the re-rings where I think the wood was seamed. The mount will swing a little and needs to be clamped down very hard to get it still. You may want to add a washer or something to assist with that. They have normal aging issues but nothing big. It’s a cool little set. Some cosmetic wear throughout from use. I will be happy to assist any way I can! Also, multiple items bought from Drum Stash will be packed together if it can be done safely and efficiently. Vintage Yamaha D series black willow drum set. These were some of the first kits Yamaha made in the late 69s to early 70s. The shells are made of birch. Sizes are 20×14 sr# 7873bass drum 12, x7 sr#7483 & 8×13 st# 7483 rack toms, and a 16×16 sr# 7483 floor tom. 5×14 sr # 3664 metal snare drum that is the same era as the drums. All drums are the vintage Y badge. The wrapped Finish is still holding strong with no lifting at the seams and no tears in the wrap. Shell interiors have the gray paint inside that Yamaha used back then. Bearing edges are all in great condition still. Hoops are original with inlay front of bass drum unfortunately is missing. All internal mufflers still intact. All original parts and hardware. The toms have the original Yamaha heads in them. One bottom is split. The lugs are in good condition still with minimal weathering. There is no cracks in any of the shells. Double Tom mount , Bess pedal and hihat but no snare stand. Message me for any questions.
