I believe this is a vintage 60s era Gretsch snare, maple but can’t be 100% sure, perhaps someone can let me know from the badge? Tone control is still on there and comes with 10 lug die cast hoops. Sounds great, wood and hoops in good shape but obviously in used condition, please take a look at the pictures closely. Model: SD255ASG (badge shows Custom Model SD255ASG, serial QLX1026). Size: 14″ x 5.5″. Hoops: Yamaha Vintage Hoop black wood hoops (top and bottom). Snares: Signature 10-wire set. Condition (Used – Good). Drum is fully functional and presents well. Normal cosmetic wear consistent with use. Batter head is genuinely “game-used” and should be replaced to taste. Gently used Pearl Masters 14×5.5 SST snare, all maple, in Trans Black. Solid build with Mastercast hoops, easy action snare throw, and smooth tuning lugs. Great sound live and in the studio, tuned up tight or a bit loose. Snare wires also in good shape. Has Evans Reverse dot on batter and Ambassador for snare reso.
