Everything works good and included in this deal is the 2-piece Alesis Strike Pro hi-hat cymbal set, the hi-hat control, and the hi-hat spring for the control. What’s in the pictures is what’s included. Please be informed on what you need to complete your electronic hihat set. This also includes the Alesis hi-hat clutch, however the bottom piece on the clutch that holds the cymbal from moving left to right, was broken off. Still works fine as most of the time the cymbal doesn’t move much.

These have a nice chick sound to them when played closed and and a nice washy swinging sound when played open. There is no stamp but possibly manufactured by Leedy or Premier (Premier were formed in 1922). As you may know, Hi-Hat Cymbals today evolved from a “Sock Cymbal”, a pair of similar Cymbals mounted at ground level on a hinged, spring-loaded foot apparatus, hence the name “Sock”. I’m the only owner of this Roland kit. As you see in the picture it was kept in my office, never traveled with it. I connected it all the day it arrived and never had to take it apart. I play the drums Monday nights and Sunday mornings at my church, so I play on an acoustic set most of the time. I bought this Roland kit to have fun at home instead of watching Netflix, I would create drum covers with this Roland kit. It is super easy to make drum covers with this Roland Kit!! Honestly, I just use an iRig 2 to connect into my iPad as an audio input. Record on the iPad and the audio syncs automatically to the saved video file.
