20″ x 14″ Bass Drum, 12″ x 8″ rack tom, 14″ x 14″ floor tom… Sounds great on recordings. Sadly misplaced the snare at an out of town gig but will admit it was the weak point of the kit…. The toms and kick punch way above their price range. Was a gigging kit so has a few battle scars, but is still in great condition, does include tom arm holder and the drum heads currently on which are Evans UV2s.

Vintage Slingerland Concert Tom Set in Blue Satin Flame. Great vintage Slingerland in a somewhat rare blue Satin flame drum wrap. All original parts as far as I can tell except heads. Wrap is in ok condition. Some scratches and spider cracks present on all drums. Floor tom is the only drum with any noticeable fade, see pictures. Chrome is in nice shape with some nicks and light pitting. Bass drum has an aluminum liner original to the drum. I think this was meant to be a nesting kit though there isn’t much information out there about them.

Kerry Meads was an exceptional drummer and percussionist who recently passed away. Kerry played percussion professionally in the Orchestras on Broadway, The New York Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall and the Boston Pops. He played for local Pennsylvania bands in carnivals, fairs and festivals. He also played on cruises and music tours throughout the United States and Europe over the years. Here is his 1969-71 Slingerland 9×13, 16×16, 14×22 drum set in Blue Satin Flame. Extremely clean maple interiors. Original white coated Slingerland top tom heads and bass drum heads. Bass is a tad lighter in color on the top and there are a few relatively minor discolorations on the floor tom. Very few scratches on the satin and no checking or other issues. Good condition, from smoke free environment. We do our best to present accurate, detailed information about every item we sell. The claim process can take 3-4 weeks.

Here’s a beautiful Western Germany Sonor kit! This 100% beech drumset sounds and looks amazing for its age. The satin flame finish, being among the most delicate finishes out there, does show even scratching around the shells, and is lifting in a couple places on the 12 tom. 2 steps back, however, and the majority of the imperfections fade away in the sea of satin flame. The floor tom has an unoriginal bottom hoop, and features a sonor leg from the 70’s. Excellent heads are currently on the drums, and the bearing edges are in great, never redone shape. All lugs are secure, and every tension screw threads as it should. Includes tom holder, bass drum spurs, and floor tom legs. Don’t let this deal pass you by!
