Vintage Humes & Berg Fiber Drum Set Cases Econoline Snare Leather. Total of (6) cases with the lids. These (6) drum set hard cases are vintage and appear to be from approximately December of 1995 based on the checklist shown on each case. The sizes were listed on the same drum workshop quality assurance check-list sheet. They are as follows. The cases do show wear/tear from usage. But, I didn’t see any holes or rips and the straps work perfectly. I took the time to take multiple photos from various angles and close-ups to help you determine the condition of the cases for yourself. Please review all the pics because they are also part of the description. Again, there are (6) cases but initially in the first few pics I only captured 5. This one owner Camco kit is about 50 years old. The original owner bought it with the 8 x 12, 9 x 13, 16 x 16, and 14 x 22 and then added the 14 x 14 floor Tom later. The original four drums are Oak lawn Illinois and the 14 inch floor Tom was made in Chanute Kansas these drums show normal wear and tear and have some extra holes and modifications. This is a player set they sound incredible! The 8 x 12 Tom has a pearl hoop extra holes pearl tom mount and no internal muffler shows some finish wear. The 9 x 13 Tom has extra holes no internal muffler and a pearl mount some stuffing and wear on the finish. The 14 x 14 was made in Chanute Kansas no internal muffler includes original floor Tom legs and has some finish wear. The 16 x 16 has extra no internal muffler, original floor Tom legs and shows finish wear. The 14 x 22 bass drum has extra holes: a pearl bass drum Tom mount and two pearl Tom arms. Some pictures are with flash, others aren’t. 700 natural maple wood finish on 6 ply die-mold shells. Even the insides are clear coated per the catalog. Some people call this Thermogloss but I can find no reference to that word in the Ludwig catalogs. It has the P-46 hex nut wrench, and the pre-set lock on the vertical T-post. Bass drum legs are the thick type. Comes with original vulcanized fiber cases and it even has the rare No. 8364 combination case for the two tom toms 8″x12″ and 9″x13″ with the plate that sits in between the two toms(see pic #6). This case was offered in the Ludwig catalogs. This kit also comes with the No. 8565 16″x16″ floor tom case and No. 6991 14″x22″ bass drum case, all in excellent clean condition. Write me for more pictures of those cases. This fine kit is absolutely 100% original, including all the heads! Not a washer, screw or part switched or changed. 100% ORIGINAL WITH ORIGINAL CASES! You are going back in time with this one!! Plus this is the same model Ludwig kit Ringo used with the Beatles when they played the live concert on top of the roof! Some of you know what I’m talking about….. Check out the 12 clear close-up super-size pictures to help describe these nice items. This 100% original kit was a joy to clean, it came out great! One of the many cool things about these nice drums is they have very close serial numbers on the “still pointed” blue olive badges: 1950303, 1950531, 1952439, 1965836. Note: rounded corner b/o badges started in 1979. I can’t find any date stamps inside but those serial numbers date the kit at 1978 per several websites. Condition Notes: The only issue can be seen in picture #12 as there is tom rub on the top of the bass drum. It’s basically hid when the kit is set up in playing view. Bass drum batter side hoop has minor pedal clamp wear. The original Ludwig top tom heads are very used Ludwig Rockers Silver Dot Clear, and the bottom heads are like new Ludwig Rockers Heavy Clear. The bass drum sounds great with the Evans EMAD Batter head, and the front bass drum head is the Ludwig Heavy Clear head with block logo sticker on top. General Terms and Conditions.
