PDP Concept Maple Exotics drums are constructed with maple shells and the same pro-level features as their Concept Maple cousins. But to boost the looks, PDP wraps these Exotics drums with an inner and outer veneer of rich honey mahogany wood, which is finished with a glossy natural lacquer. Beyond the outer veneer of mahogany, these all-maple drums belong fully to the PDP Concept Maple series. The 7-ply toms come in DW’s proprietary F. Sizes for maximum resonance. The rack toms use DW’s advanced Suspension Tom Mounts (STMs). The 10-ply snares include the trusted MAG throw-off, along with fully-chromed snare wires, featuring carbon steel coils and brass end plates. The 7-ply bass drums are built with die-cast, low-mass claw hooks. What can I say, this kit is an absolute work of art. The kit was gigged and has a couple blemishes here and there but tough to see with the mesmerizing finish. 10×9, 12×10, 14×12 & 16×14 Tom’s. Listing is for shells only, although I’m truly happy to keep this baby forever as it will only increase in value!

DW Exotic Wood Drum Set – this was my dream set and has served me well in the studio. It has basically never moved, except to clean, from the location in the picture since I have had it – about 12 years. It was used in the studio all of the time. Only one drummer – me. This set is a six piece set made out of Olive Ash and has a satin finish. It has the following drums. 22 x 18 Bass, 12×8 Tom, 13×9 Tom, 16×12 Floor Tom, 18×14 Floor Tom, 14×5 Snare. Hardware is DW9000 Hi Hat stand, DW9000 Double Bass pedals. PDP Cage with all cymbal hardware as shown its included. It also comes with a fair amount of extra hardware for the cage system. No cymbals are included. It also comes with (not shown) all the original Tom Tom stands. This set is in absolute mint condition and is gorgeous. Like I said they were my dream set.
