This rare, 1960s USA-MADE Rogers Dynasonic is a solid steam-bent shell snare drum sounds great and shows the typical signs of wear for a drum of its vintage. The Vintage Rogers 7-Line Dynasonic 1960s 5×14 snare drum is a classic, highly regarded instrument that exudes retro charm and musical integrity. Rogers were considered The Cadillac Of Drums. These drums were way ahead of their time, and were Rogers answer to the Ludwig Super-Sensitive snare drum. Drumming great Nate Smith can often be seen/heard using one these fine instruments. This drum features a chrome-over-brass (COB) shell and is 14-inches in diameter and 5-inches in deep. These snare drums feature a very crisp sound and are perfect for drummers looking to add a very clear, articulate sound to their setup. The Rogers brand is synonymous with quality and durability, making this snare drum a reliable choice for any musician seeking a high-quality instrument with a distinctive sound. This drum is definitely a vintage “player’s drum, ” and shows the signs of a well-played instrument. Epic Rogers September 1972 Fullerton ca Londoner 5 piece drum set black cortex w swivomatic hardware. Its all here unmolested and in tact. All internal tags are present comes with a dynasonic COB snare and matching hardware. 3 things to note. Bass drum spurs are not og they are round and knurled. Snare is missing internal dampener and possibly something else there are a couple of screw holes w nothing in them. A MULTICOLOR 12/13/16/20 Londoner with cannister throne and matching wood Dynasonic. All of the collets are the machined variation. This was the first color selection in the 1964 catalog. This is the first time seeing it (for me) blue and gold on a set. And this one has matching cannister throne and Dynasonic. There is small separation between wraps which is normal for wrap of this age. There are marks on the bottom on back hoop from pedal and strip of inlay spanning 2 lugs is missing. Will include only if found. The 13 has 2 logos if you only want to play just the 20/13/16. The Dynasonic has the flamiest maple interior of any Dyna I’ve seen. Hardware and stands not included but always sweeten a deal when picked up. These were well cared for and are real nice shape too. Set up hardware for drums assembly will be included (spurs, ft legs, double Tom mount w/ swivo arms).. Cymbal stands not included. Check out sellers other auctions for rare Rogers drums and sets. Will be 3-4 boxes or pick arrangements can be made. Calculator doesn’t do multiple boxes. So flat rate charged maybe portion of balance. Price quoted is for US48 only. THE DRUM SIZES ARE: 9″ DEEP X 13″ HEAD; 14″ DEEP X 20″ HEAD; 16″ DEEP X 16″ HEAD; 5″ DEEP X 14″ DYNASONIC SNARE DRUM. THE DRUMS LOOK GOOD. I DID NOT FIND ANY BROKEN OR REPAIRED LUGS OR RIMS. NO MISSING TENSION RODS. THE INSIDES OF THE SHELLS LOOK GOOD. I CAN SMELL A LITTLE STALE TOBACCO SMOKE. THE LUGS AND RIMS NEED TO BE POLISHED. THERE IS A LITTLE HAYES ONE THEM. THE DRUM HEADS HAVE A LOT OF USE. THE BOTTOM HEADS (TOM AND FLOOR TOM) LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINAL COATED ROGERS HEADS. THE SNARE DRUM TOP HEAD IS AN OLD REMO FIBERSKYN AND THE TOP SKIN IS WRINKLED. THE BOTTOM HEAD ON THE SNARE IS A LUDWIG SNARE SIDE HEAD AND IT’S FINE. THE COVERING IS TIGHT ON ALL OF THE DRUMS. THE INLAY ON THE BASS HOOPS HAS A FEW AREA THAT NEED TO BE GLUED DOWN. THE DRUM SET COMES WITH A BASS PEDAL; HI-HAT; SNARE STAND; DRUM THRONE AND CASES. THE BASS PEDAL LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A NEW STRAP. THE FOOT BOARD HAS WEAR FROM USE. THE HI-HAT STAND IS ROUGH LOOKING, BUT WILL WORK. THERE IS SOME RUSTY SPOTS ON IT. THE CLUTCH IS NOT ORIGINAL. THE SNARE STAND IS A LITTLE ROUGH LOOKING, BUT HOLDS THE SNARE DRUM. THE RUBBER CRADLE PADS ARE MISSING. THE DRUM THRONE HAS BEEN WELDED TOGETHER NEAR THE TOP AND THE CUSHION HAS SOME GAFFER TAPE ON IT. THE STANDS AND FLOOR TOM LEGS ARE MISSING SOME OF THE RUBBER FEET. THE STORAGE CASES HAVE REPAIRED AND REPLACED STRAPS AND HANDLES. THERE IS NO CASES FOR THE HARDWARE OR SNARE DRUM. THE DYNASONIC SNARE DRUM IS 5X14 WITH 10 LUGS. AS STATED ABOVE THE TOP HEAD IS WORN AND WRINKLED. THE PARTS OF THE SNARE LOOK GOOD. NO CRACKS OR REPAIRS. THE DRUM COULD USE A GOOD CLEAN AND POLISH.
