Snare is missing 2 lug attachments and snare wires and has a number scratched into it but is in otherwise nice used condition. Floor tom is in good condition. Bass drum strip on drumheads are coming up a little may need taken off and reglued. Bass is a bit dirty and scratches and scuffs but should clean up some. Flaking of the chrome on the inside of the rim at the bottom. Tom drums are in good used condition. These measure 13×8 toms, 16×16 floor tom, 14×4.5 snare, 20×14 or 14.5 bass. Comes with only what is seen in pictures. It has one piece of hardware but missing the cross bar part. Please see all pictures for condition. I have additional pictures upon request.

Trick drums are absolutely innovative in sound and construction. The ultra thin aircraft aluminum shells are precision milled and unaffected by temperature. Tone between drums is incredibly clean and consistent due to the use of one aluminum ply: whereas wood ply drums have inconsistencies due to wood densities and glue. The lugs are solid aluminum and the snare features Trick’s amazing GS007 strainer. This kit sounds way more warm and full then you would expect from a metal shelled kit and is also loud punchy and full of attack. The drums are all very clean overall with just a couple of light dings, scratch on the backside of the 16 and some smudges on the bass drum. Chrome has flaked off a few lugs on the snare but it’s very hard to notice since it’s aluminum underneath. Also included are six floor tom legs and bass drum mount for rack toms. For your consideration, a Rogers 26/13/16/18 drum set. I bought this set around this time last year, but realized that they are just too big for my tastes. They are stunning, and the condition is absolutely remarkable! From the physical characteristics, this set dates back to around 1970 or 1971, with the exception of the 18 floor tom, which dates to 9/72. Step back a few feet, and they look new! The photos I took have reflected lines on the tom shells. These are not scratches. If you desire that John Bonham, crushing, huge drum sound, then look no further. And Rogers drums of this vintage were the absolute flagship of quality you could obtain. They tune easily, are incredibly resonant, and will hold up as well as most currently produced drums. The virgin 26″x14″ bass drum is a rarity. This allows for added depth and projection, since there is no tom mount to diminish the sound. I have replaced 8 of the T handles on the bass drum that were bent. 7 remain slightly bent below the T section, but function fine. Other sizes are 13″x9″, 16″x16″ and 18″x16″. The 13×9 has a Swiv-O-Matic tom mount installed. Serial numbers are: 26×14 bass drum #20449. 13×9 tom # 99124. 16×16 floor tom #83099. 18×16 floor tom #50253. This sale does not include hardware or cymbals, but included are the 6 floor tom legs and the Swiv-O-Matic cymbal tilter that connects to the 16 floor tom. Up for sale is my mid-2000 4 piece Ludwig Classic Maple John Bonham replica shell pack in natural maple gloss. This is a replica of his early touring kit before he switched to touring with the Vistalite set and it sounds incredible. Tune it up and you have great attack and stick response coupled with a rumbling low end for that Bonzo sound or tune it lower and you get a cavernous, deep wet maple sound. Ludwig Classic Maple shells are about the best sounding drums out there and this kit makes an incredible visual and sonic presence on any stage. Issues with the kit include a few small nicks on the side of the bass drum (pictured) which are hard to see because of the natural maple finish. Slight pedal indentation on the hoop, and the 18 floor tom has had very slight dent/seam separation (pictured). It looks like the previous owner dropped the drum on it’s side and it “dented” the top part of the shell slightly at the seam. The seam has been re-glued and is absolutely solid and the hoop has been replaced. No cracks but the drum is very slightly out of round at the top. Drum heads seat on the bearing edges fine and there is no binding with the drum head or counter hoop. It tunes up great, sounds fantastic and is not at all noticeable when a drum head is on it. Pictures don’t do this kit justice, the maple grain is intense and stunning. Included in the sale is: 14X12 inch virgin rack tom, 16X16 inch floor tom with legs, 18X16 inch floor tom with legs, and a 26X14 inch bass drum.
