Tama Imperialstar King Beat snare drum from 1980’s. With Parallel Strainer snare system. In very clean conditions with pitting and scratches on the shell and die cast hoops. Please note that there is one of the lugs hardware that is just attached from the top and bottom lugs, it is not attached to the shell, this is not affecting the functionality of the snare but I just want to be honest and clear with you.. The pitting is all over the snare, please be aware, and hard to spot from a medium distance, you will need to be very close to the snare to be able to see the pitting. It is a very clean snare example from a parallel snare system King Beat. It sound very nice, the top head is a Remo power stroke P77 coated. Almost new barely played. The Vintage 80’s Tama parallel strainer system King Beat Steel Snare Drum from Japan is a classic piece of musical equipment perfect for drummers looking for a high-quality snare drum. With a 14-inch diameter and made of steel, this snare drum produces a powerful and crisp sound ideal for adding depth to any drum set. This is a Premier Soundwave kite from 1978. The Soundwave was the FIRST model to feature the “undersized” shells which allow the head to sit better and make for easier tuning. This later became known as Projector in the 80s and 90s. The two-tone finish was only done for a few years and makes a very unique looking kit. This set has the beautiful low profile Die Cast Hoops. And believe it or not – the original heads! The sizes are 22 x 14 bass drum 13 x 9 tom 16 x 15 floor tom (22-13-16 diameters) These are classic sizes and SOUND GREAT!! The shells are classic Premier BIRCH with BEECH reinforcement rings. The finish is lacquer in natural with burgundy red inset. There are s ome imperfections in the lacquer finish. The black part of the bass drum hoops have small nicks and light pedal rash. After all, this is 38 years old. The original heads have been packed away for years. They have a few scuffs and dimples but have not been played. The chrome lugs are nice. These are a two piece design to give the spacing for the undersized shells. I think they the best looking lugs Premier ever made. The hoops have very minor scuffs scratches and speckles. The interior of the drum is very nice. The toms have original tone dampeners. Comes with hard-to-find single tom mount. Look at the photos. The drums will be carefully pac.
