Consignment Vintage Slingerland Set, Early 60s, 12,14,20, Blue Agate, chrome over brass 5X14 snare with some hardware, original, rare, clean. This early 1960s Slingerland Set is in really good shape. The sizes are 14×20 bass drum, 8×12 mouthed tom, 14×14 floor tom and a 5×14 8-lug chrome over brass snare drum. All of the drums have chrome over brass hoops. The shells are 3 ply maple with reinforcement hoops. Judging by the straight legs on the floor tom, the T-Handles on the bass drum and the Niles, Illinois badge, we are fairly confident this kit is from the early 1960s. The Blue Agate finish is in great shape for its age. The inlay on the bass drum hoops is coming up a little bit, but it will be repaired by our technician. The only non-original part on the kit is the knob on the snare drum throw-off. The resonant heads on the mounted tom, floor tom and bass drum are all the original Slingerland heads. The kit does include a speed king pedal, Ludwig hi hat stand, Slingerland snare drum stand and Slingerland cymbal stand. Free shippping on orders over 79.99 in the continental United States. Consignment 1985 Gretsch USA Custom Maple Drum Set, Rosewood Finish, 10,12,13,14,16,20 RIMS, Tama Mnts, Fiber Cases. Gretsch USA Custom Maple Kit (late 1980s vintage) in a gorgeous Rosewood gloss. 8X10, 8X12, 9X13 mounted toms with RIMS mounts and Tama brackets. 14X14, and 16X16 floor toms with Gretsch legs. 14X20 bass drum with Tama double tom mount, Pearl spurs, and natural maple gloss hoops. This set comes with complete set of Humes and Berg fiber cases and new coated Remo Ambassador batter heads. These drums were used professionally, but have been very well taken care of and are in excellent condition. The only small issue might be on one side of the 14 floor tom where the lacquer has aged (not faded). Please see the photos for details.
