Vintage set of two King Congas for sale (Quinto & Conga). Color: Black, Fiberglas Shells, Sizes: 10.5 and 11.5 inch head diameters (playing surface only). These legendary extremely rare congas were originally handcrafted in the San Francisco Bay Area (Fremont, CA) back in the early 1970’s and are well known for their superior sound, projection, light weight, and ease of playing along with their fabulous good looks. Incredible sounding, they are like Valje or Gon Bops on steroids. Besides some scuff marks near the bottom of the shells (hardly noticeable unless looking closely), these drums are in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The larger conga still has the original King Conga skin w/logo, both skins are in excellent condition and sound fantastic. Both drums also still have the original King Conga stickers on the hoops/crowns, original features rarely found.
