Mellow Yellow Recording Custom. In the history of Yamaha’s acoustic drums for more than 50 years, the model that was also called a famous instrument was the YD9000R, which was announced in 1979. The easy-to-control sound and the easy-to-ride sound attracted the world’s top drummers, and it was extremely popular not only for studio recording but also as a drum for live use. In the 1980s, it was called “Recording Custom”. It has been renamed and still has a strong presence. This product is a standard size drum set with 12, 13 toms and 1 floor based on a 22 bass drum. From the serial number, it seems to be around 1993, and of course it is “made in Japan”. The tom halter is from that time and also comes with a stabilizer inside the bass drum. Size: BD: 22 “x 16″, 12 “x 8″, 13 “x 9″, FT: 16 “x 16″. Hoop: Tom; Super Hoop, Bass Drum; Wood Hoop. Accessories: Tom Holder, Bass Drum Stabilizer. Although there are small scratches, there is almost no major damage, and it is a used item that maintains good condition.
