Very very cool Ludwig drum set. Usual tear and wear for a vintage instrument like Scratches, dings, and dents. Bass drum lacquer has small spiderweb cracks but looks great anyway. Vintage Yamaha 7000 series drum set. This kit is in great condition. There are some nicks here and there, and some minor rust and putting, but overall, and especially considering age, the set looks beautiful. The pictures are showing the bass drum hoop where the pedal meets, the floor tom on the badge side, and the 13 tom. There are other nicks here and there but nothing nearly as notable as whats in the pics in my opinion. The set comes with all the hardware shown, the pieces seem to be original with no missing pieces. You can find some info about them in vintage drum catalog scans online! Some interesting things Ive found about this kit in particular is that it has thin shells with painted bearing edges similar to the more sought after, early 80s Recoding Custom drums. Also, all 4 drum have matching IJ badge numbers! Meaning they were all made in the same month in 1982! Please look at pics carefully, and if you are interested, feel free to ask me to send you additional pics showing off the finished bearing edges or maybe more details on some of the smaller nicks or such! It has been manufactured by DW with their premium oyster covering… These sizes can be played in all types of music venues – the sizes are 8×12, 14×14, with a 16×20 bass. The set comes with the DW cymbal holder , the DW Light Tom Legs , & the DW tom holder , and the newer rims on the drums. I presently have an EMAD batter head on the Bass a thundering low end! , or I can substitute the DW bass head. The toms have the DW factory heads. I do reserve the right to sell these drums locally. As you can see these drums have been used very few times with no outside gigs… They are in pristine condition! They have been kept in a temperature/humidity setting at church. You will be happy with, not only the sound of these instruments, but the durable hardware, shells, and their overall construction. This is your chance to get the top of the line DW Collector’s Set at a great price with no waiting and no high prices of the new sets.
