I bought these as my “Gigging Designers” and they are my best sounding Designer kit. I’m not gigging that much so these are getting no use. I removed the grommet on the bottom of the bass drum and used the May system with a D6. (not included, but we have them available) There is a slight difference in color on the 10 tom. Most people don’t notice it but I do. The set could use a nice, deep cleaning and it will sparkle. Consider this as a players kit; it’s in really nice shape but not a museum piece. I bought these drums from the original owner in January of last 2017. They are in immaculate condition considering these drums were manufactured originally in the early 2000s. These things spent their whole life, up until I got them, in cases. You’d be hard pressed to find any imperfections on the visually stunning “Birdseye Azure” finish. I have pictured the slightest blemish on the front Kick hoop, but it is very small. They are currently well kept in my smoke free home. I played them a couple hours a week up until last Summer when I put them up. Now its time for someone else to enjoy them.. These are very sought after drums due to the vintage thin maple shells and the older square badges. Sonor’s equivalent “SQ2 series” drums today are incredibly expensive. I’ve been drumming for 15 years and these are easily some of the best sounding drums I’ve ever played. If you are considering these drums you are probably already aware of their reputation. This kit sounds HUGE with a monstrous 24″ Kick and toms ranging from 12″, 14″, 16″ and 18! The kit includes the following drums. This includes the 2 tom stands pictured and a slotted Sonor drum key. This does NOT include any cymbals or Snare. This post is strictly for the drums and hardware pictured in the outside shot!! The 18 tom was not in the outside pictures but IS included. Pictures of the set with cymbals just to show how to set up. The 14 will fit over the kick if you try hard enough.
