Camco Bop drum set Oaklawn 14×18, 8×12, 14×14. Great sounding set of Oaklawn drums, These drums are in good shape although they could use a good detailing, the shells and edges are in wonderful condition, the interior is a clear finish and the drums were rewrapped some 20 years ago, guessing the were originally a lacquer kit as to my understanding the wrapped kits were painted interior and the natural finish lacquer kits were clear finished. Ludwig, jazz drum set from mid. With original Silver Sparkle finish. 12″ deep x 18 ” diameter bass drum. 14″ deep x 14 ” diameter floor tom. 8″ deep x 12 ” diameter tom-tom. From the factory, bass drum is not drilled for the tom-tom holder (bracket). You have a choice to install the bracket in any location you feel comfortable, or keep it the way it is. I do not provide the tom-tom holding bracket. Also, you can play the tom-tom from the snare stand…. If you like it. This kind of drum set is hard to find, especially in this condition and choice where to install the tom mount. Most drummers are struggling with original placement of the bracket. Snare stand on the picture is not for sale. Two piece shell, inverted edges, crimped in snare bed. 1920’s chrome over brass shell. Perhaps it will complete your drum set. Slingerland 60s “bop kit” restoration. This kit is a rewrap (in Precision Drum Co’s green sparkle) from orphan shells. 3-ply waple interior ply. Rare virgin bass drum originally but had Gretsch Techware spurs installed at some point. Has numerous holes plugged with Slingerland bass drum shell fragments accordingly. Black paint sanded off interior of drum. Original edges are excellent. One hoop is original, the other is a 10-ply replacement from Precision but after painting it it’s nearly indistinguishable. Spurs are earlier nickel. 14×14: early 60s, no badge or grommet. Has a small extra hole plugged below each lug casing. COB rims (one is slightly bent), vertical muffler. Has wing bolt style leg brackets and era-correct legs. 8×12: early 60s, no badge or grommet. Rerings had to be reglued on this drum, and the bearing edges needed some sanding as a result. Wrap is tacked down in one small area under the head collar. Horizontal Todd muffler, COB rims (one is slightly bent). The only extra hole is plugged and covered by the diamond plate on both sides. 5.5×14 Hollywood Ace snare: mid 60s, one little extra hole plugged where the strainer was swapped for a Ludwig P-84. These drums tune up well and have a great bebop sound. They’re reminiscent of Round Badge Gretsch drums from the same era, especially with no vent holes in the toms. All drums fit modern heads with ease and the kit is ready to play. Snare stands in photo not for sale.
