I ordered these brand new and played in several bands with them, I sat-in with the Count Basie Orchestra, I played on professional recordings for local Illinois talent in recording studios, I played at the Lake Geneva Playboy Club with the Frankie Masters Orchestra. They are in remarkably good condition for being forty-seven years old and considering how badly this particular copper-colored laminate is known to corrode. I have kept them in controlled environment all 47 years. They are polished and waxed and look beautiful, but they do haves blemishes. I ordered these drums through McCormick Enterprises in Elk Grove, Il, when I was 16 years-old, but it’s time to pass them along to someone that wants a unique set of drums that they’ll likely never see anyone else own!
