The stunning Merlot Sparkle wrap is a little redder than burgundy sparkle, but similar. The shells are all maple. The toms and bass feature low-mass, single-node EGO lugs, while the snare is outfitted with tube lugs. Everything but the bass comes with diecast hoops–Tama Starcast in the case of the toms. The 12 mounted comes complete with the Starcast suspension system. TreeHouse Custom Drums 4-piece Up-Cycled Kit Swamp Monster! What’s up with Up-Cycled drums? Sometimes new drums’ shells are damaged but the hardware is 100%; sometimes clean used hardware just gets lonely sleeping in parts bins. This kind of drumset has the same attention to detail and 100% quality guarantee like normal for typical new TreeHouse Drumsets but with a few parts from random sources. We’re not talking about the broken toys crawling out from under Sid’s bed, but A-Quality stuff that ought to be out there in the world; pay less for great one-of-a-kind drums! Oh, and what’s going on with “Starter Dough” as a color? The term comes from pulling aside a bit of dough for later or for your neighbor when you’re making sourdough bread. This bread uses the goodies building up in the starter lump instead of new yeast to rise the new bread. Over time, the starter might take on a local flavor. Over the years, there would sometimes be a bit of quality expensive aniline dye in the bottom of the jar after coloring a drumset. Kept “just in case, some day, ” these remnants aren’t enough for a full project, but mixed together, they make the same high-quality colorings TreeHouse is known for, but with recipes and proportions that can never be reproduced. Like a starter dough, these remnants get tossed in a jar and can be used for future projects. TreeHouse Custom Drums 6-pc Compact Nesting Kit with Black Hardware – NEW/USED. 3 mounted, floor, bass, snare… All that fits into 2 cases! Toss a little black hardware in to be unique, and you’ll look-n-sound great at the gig! This configuration is comprised of a 5-pc Compact Nesting Kit CS-205 with an add-on 8 tom for when you need a little more high end on your grooves/fills. The 10″ – 13″ – 16″ – bass drum – snare drum all nest (just like a standard CS-205) with the 8″carried separately. Lightweight spring clamps on the 13 mounted tom, floor tom and bass drum shells securely attach the two parts of each of these drums. To be sure that they line up perfectly, the “Seam Lips” make for airtight, rattle-free assembly every time you set up! These are barely noticeable, do not penetrate the finish, and are purely cosmetic, as the drum is in 100% working order. When we received this tom back on trade, we completely disassembled and refurbished the drum, and then built a brand new kit to wrap around it. Includes 6 drums, 3 floor tom legs, and 3 tom arms. It is a stunning Merlot Sparkle which is a little redder than burgundy sparkle, but similar. The shells are all maple. The toms and bass feature low-mass, single-node EGO lugs, while the snare is outfitted with tube lugs. Everything but the bass comes with diecast hoops–Tama Starcast in the case of the toms. The 12 mounted comes complete with the Starcast suspension system. The Snare Drum features a whoppin’ 15 plies of maple with sharp bearing edges for high-end crack, while the toms and bass are all 8 ply suitable for lots of music genres. They have spent some time in the sun, and as a result, there are a few areas where the wrap has bubbled up slightly. This sale contains the four drums and floor tom legs only.
