VINTAGE 1971 LUDWIG BLUE SPARKLE HOLLYWOOD DRUMSET 1971 Here is a wonderful Ludwig 22″, 16″, 13″, 12″, BLUE SPARKLE Hollywood drumset born together from LUDWIG. The 12 tom has a Serial Number of 817397, and has a CLEAR interior with a black round muffler with a ink date stamp of April 21, 1971. The 13 tom has a serial number of 817537 and has a clear interior with a round black muffler, with a ink date stamp of April 22, 1971. The 16 floortom has a Serial Number of 817525 and has a clear interior with a round black muffler, with a ink date stamp of April 22, 1971. The bass drum has a Serial Number of 817517, with a clear interior and I never checked for a date stamp. I have rated these drums as mint to near mint. There is just a very slight shade difference between under the hoops verses the shells when outside in direct sunlight. The only problem is some of the seams have come a little unglued. I have been told that that is a easy fix. These are some of the nicest drums I have. Again, the hardware is perfect. All the drums have new REMO HEADS BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM, except the original bass front and rear head. Please look at all photo’s. Just a note to buyers. I have about 30-45 sets of Ludwig Drums and snares. Pretty much all 1960s era, that I will be listing over time. So, if you have questions please feel free to ask, or help educate me on drums. In conclusion, these drums are really beautiful. Its really hard to find some in this condition, and hardly played. Most of these drums have been in my heated wearhouse since 1994, and a lot had been there since the early 1970s. They dont come along often, especially now with all the bogus, modified, non original stuff nowadays. I will provide tracking numbers immediately upon receipt.
