Tama Starclassic Bubinga Elite 3 Piece Drum Set. These are the rare Bubinga Elite series drums that are very hard to find these days. Made in Japan before most of their production moved to China. These were flagship line of Tama in the mid 2000s. Each drum has an inner label signed off by the head of quality control at Tama. Tama Star-cast hoops on both toms. Red Sparkle Burst color. Condition Notes: The batter-side bass drum hoop has cracked and split. The previous owner may have dropped it. It seems to be repairable to a certain degree. The new owner can either repair it or swap the hoop to the resonant side if desired. There seems to be Tama replacement hoops for sale online you can order if desired. The heads on the toms have seen some use but there is some life left in them. Also, I do not have the memory locks for the floor tom legs. Those can also be ordered online if desired. Otherwise, this set is in very good condition. If it wasn’t for the crack in the bass drum hoop, I would rate it as excellent condition. 10″ x 8″ tom with star-cast mount. 16″ x 14″ floor tom on legs. 22 x 18 virgin bass drum.
