Sonor Signature Horst Link 8 piece “monster” set. Nicko McBrian’s (Iron Maiden) personal drum set. Up for sale is a very rare Sonor Signature set. Rare for many reasons. 1 I haven’t seen a Horst Link with these many drums before. 3 The condition of such an old set. For a 30 year old set it looks unbelievable. No rust or pitting in any of the chrome and barely any marks around the set. I pictured the “worst” four (you can see my finger right by it). I can give the set an easy 9/10 condition which is amazing for such an old set. Also I tried polishing the chrome and it cleans out as if it would be new from factory with no need of polishing products. 4 The rare configuration: 10×9, 12×10, 13×11, 14×12, 15×13, 16×14, 18×18 and 24×17. Any Sonor fans out there I’m sure will be thrilled to own this monster piece of history. I’m including all the mounting hardware for each drum, as seen in one of the last pics. That is: two stands with two arms each, and a bass drum mount with two mounts. That’s 6 mounts for the 6 toms plus 3 floor tom legs for the 18×18. The drums will be professionally packed and they’ll arrive to it’s destination perfectly safe.
