Up for sale is an extremely rare Sonor Designer Maple Lite kit in Bubinga Gloss finish ply, inside and out, in excellent, near mint shape. This kit was originally a NAMM display kit in 2002. This kit has never been gigged or left a climate controlled environment. I don’t describe anything I don’t pull out of the box the first time as mint but this is as close as you can get. There are no scratches on the shells no pedal rash, no flaking or pitting chrome, and very part on the kit functions like new. The only flaw I can see is that the two black plastic washers on the batter side bottom tension rods have a small piece chipped off on each. I could go on and on about the virtues of the Sonor Designer series kit but if you are reading this, you already know. These drums are head and shoulders above anything I have ever played in both sound, construction, and looks and I have owned, collected and played just about every high end drum set out there. Designer kits are extremely rare to find these days, especially in these sizes and in the top of the line exotic bubinga finish. Please let me know if you have any questions.
