The green sparkle finish is almost identical to his green sparkle Ludwig set which he said was his favorite when recording with Led Zeppelin. Although he had a 26″ x 14″ bass drum, I like that this bass drum has a little more depth. It makes the set look more beastly. And yes, the 26 bass drum absolutely booms.
