1980s Gretsch USA Square Badge Drum Set. One owner kit – Ordered through A & A Drum Center in Utica NY. Drum was ordered with Pearl mounts on rack toms, a Pearl bass drum mount, and Pearl spurs. There are no additional holes on this kit, these mounts and spurs are original to the set. 16×16 with orignal Gretsch Floor Tom Legs and Mounts. All paper tags are present inside of the drums. Overall the drums are in good used condition. 6 Ply Jasper shells are in excellent condition. Bearing edges look great and heads fit on easily, rotate freely, and tune nicely. All original die cast rims, bass drum claws and T rods, and bass drum hoops. Please note there are some Un-Original tension rods on the toms. Shows speckled pitting on the chrome, along with scratches and scuffs. The drums look great. The natural finish has aged well. These are used drums. They were taken care of! But there are scratches and scuffs on all of the drums. These are all surface level. Most notably the 13 Has an area with a good amount of surface scratches. The drum needs to be tilted in just the right lighting to see these. They do not go through the original lacquer finish. There are also some ultra fine lacquer cracks in the finish on some of the drums. Very common for this finish. 3 Pearl Mounting arms are included. I have many additional photos of the kit.
