Fibes “Shower Door” Clear/Textured Acrylic 4 Piece Drum Kit 60 additoinal images below descrition. Third owner, and have been able to acquire little info about them, most from the previous owner They’re prototypes from CF Martin Fibes They never made it into mass production A few select stores received these in’76, this kit comes from NYC I’m unsure if this kit was ever outfitted with badges (it appears it wasn’t, no residue or badge outline) it is badge free The shells are in great condition, with two half inch cracks that have never been an issue (See description & pics) They sound identical to Vistalite’s, loud, punchy, with plenty of bass No rash No repairs All seams are solid. 22″ x 14″ kick drum All original T-claws with “F” logo Tom mount functions, but not recommended Removable spurs Little pitting Minor spots of rust Hoops have been repainted, no inlays Used Remo batter and resonant (with Fibes logo) have tons of life left. 13″ x 9″ rack tom Appear to be Ludwig rims Mix of tension rods, most original Tom mount functions, but not recommended Little pitting Minor spots of rust Brand new, never been hit, Evans Hydraulic batter Like new Remo Weatherking resonant. 16″ x 16″ floor tom Original rims Mix of tension rods, most original Shell has one half inch crack behind one lug (See description & pics) which has never spread in the years of owning this kit I believe the floor tom legs are original, but cannot verify Little pitting Minor spots of rust Brand new, never been hit, Evans Hydraulic batter Like new Remo Weatherking resonant. 14″ x 5.5″ snare Original rims Mix of tension rods, most original Shell has a half inch crack from muffler to throw off, that too has never spread or been an issue There’s two extra holes behind the lug mounted butt plate, unsure why those are there Original snare wires, the end of one wire came loose, could be easily soldered (My hands are no longer steady enough for soldering) Little pitting Minor spots of rust Like new Remo Ambassador batter Like new Remo Weatherking resonant. Also includes a Fibes Stay-Away, these mount to the rim of either tom’s or snare to keep from getting rash.
